  Jules is our lead in Event & Festival Management. She has

  many very successful large and small events under her

  belt. Her Farm Fair concept during Foot & Mouth in the

  year 2000 brought 6,000 children to an urban county

  showground to experience all the fun of the farm and countryside in a year when access in rural areas was extremely difficult. This format has now been duplicated throughout the UK by other agricultural associations and is still running in East Anglia where it began.

Of particular significance to Jules was the experience she acquired through her organisation of the Festival of Conscience. This again provided a multitude of attractions designed to highlight conservation and science issues to a total of 12,000 school children. Some of its appeal was achieved through features such as indoor jungles; auction of paintings by acclaimed artist David Shepherd; a recycling sculpture zone; wildlife discovery areas; and an ampitheatre for the staging of plays. Hosted at a large independent school, a number of the activites were led by prominent figures such as David Bellamy and David Sheppard himself.
